Solid NaCl & Molten NaCl
Why solid NaCl does not conduct electricity while molten NaCl conducts electricity?
Ans: Solid NaCl is in ionic lattice & does not have any free mobile ions to conduct electricity. However, in molten NaCl, it does have free mobile ions to conduct electricity.
